The Patchliner is Nanion’s fully automated patch clamp workstation with increased throughput and full experimental freedom. The instrument is applicable not only in safety pharmacology and target validation, but also in ion channel research. The system has 2, 4 or 8 amplifier channels to perform simultaneous recordings. It utilizes Nanion’s NPC-16 chips, which apart from the glass chips also comprise microfluidic channels. These enable a rapid and precise compound application to the cell’s external and internal side.
