“Tell us your story- how did your path lead you to Nanion Technologies?”

After I got my diploma in electronic engineering in Augsburg, Bavaria, I decided that it was time for a change of scene and luckily I found a job as a hardware/software developer at a medical start up in Berlin. I gave up hardware development pretty soon and I’m stuck with software ever since.

After six exciting years I followed my girlfriend (now my wife) back to Munich and joined a software service provider as a project manager. Great company but boring projects, therefore I moved on to a big medical company in Munich. I started as a project manager but soon was given the opportunity to work as a Scrum Master in agile development projects and I became a big fan of agility.

After almost ten years and some careful considerations during the COVID pandemic, I came to the conclusion, that agile coaching and servant leadership was the course I wanted to pursue for my work life. Luckily a colleague gave me a hint that Nanion was hiring for the software team lead position, and I thought that this would be a perfect match. To my great relief, they felt the same way and here I am.
