Introducing Nasreen Choudhury (Rush University)
In this edition of the podcast – we spoke to Postdoctoral Research Fellow Nasreen Choudhury about her research of Alzheimer’s disease and the role that ion channels play. Nasreen completed her PhD at the Indian Institute of Science where she published a paper about TREK1 channel, read it here. Nasreen went on to working at the University of Leicester where she published her investigation into Kv3 channels.
When Nasreen finishes her postdoctoral stint at Rush University Medical Center, she plans to switch to an industry role where she can work with automated patch clamp platforms. Read more about Nasreen’s career here.
