The SFET Meeting on Toxinology is back for its 30th edition, bringing together researchers and experts from around the globe to explore the dual nature of toxins—agents of harm and tools of promise. This year’s event in Nice promises a rich agenda filled with groundbreaking topics and discussions.

• Climate and mycotoxins
• Novel marine toxins
• Toxins and seafood safety
• Advances in using toxins for cancer detection and therapy

Building on the success of last year’s meeting in Paris, where attendees delved into bioinsecticides inspired by ant venom and photoactivatable peptide toxins, the event continues to highlight the diversity and innovation in toxinology. Researchers also engaged in spirited debates on methods like TEVC versus patch clamp for toxin research.
