09.09.2021: NEW! Contractile Force measurements in 96-well format with FLEXcyte 96
Contractile Force quantification is an important prerequisite for applications of human iPSC-CMs in disease modeling and drug screens.
Therefore, we included a Contractile Force calculation in our FLEXcyte 96 system by correlating the membrane movement with the tension of the cell-substrate-complex (mN/mm2) for each recording well.
We previously could show functional maturation of iPSC-CMs with physiological responses such as a positive force-frequency behavior or positive inotropic responses after application of Omecamtiv Mecarbil. But, with our new online analysis parameter, it's now possible to quantify the actual contractile force generation of cells!
